We saw the band, "Good and Broken" perform. They are a very young band who seems very new to performing. They started off very nervous but got into their set as it went on. They were cute to watch. I think they would make a great band for a show on the Disney channel or something.
We then, made a last minute decision to head over to The Courthouse for an Interscope Records and Universal Music promo party. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, we had already missed The Stereos, Marianas Trench and Daniel Wesley's performances.
But we did get to see Joey McIntyre from New Kids On The Block perform.
Gotta love his cheezy dance moves, haha.
We also saw Down With Webster perform at the party! They are absolutely fantastic! They had such high energy throughout their entire show.. constantly jumping around on stage and singing directly to the crowd and girls in the front row.. getting their audience involved. I had so much fun watching them! Even Joey McIntyre was in the the audience, getting so into their performance. They sang three songs and then did an encore of one more song. I wish they sang more though! I could've watched them all night!
Also, because Joey McIntyre was in the audience watching DWW, we got to meet him! :)
All in all, I think our first day was a pretty good start to Canadian Music Week! I can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings!
